Bajo del Tigre
Explore the unique forest of Bajo del Tigre, in the heart of Monteverde. Although it is only 2 km from the cloud forest, a drier climate means that many of the plant and animal species are different. Choose from a guided day hike, a guided night hike, or enjoy a solo hike along the trails at your own pace.

→ Self-guided hike: explore the trails at your own pace (no reservation required)
→ Day hike with naturalist guide (with prior reservation)
→ Night walk, daily at 5:30 PM (by reservation)
→Souvenir shop. 100% of proceeds support the conservation of the CER
